The Viso hut out of season
You can use the hut during the low season, without the warden
When the viso hut is not manned, from october to early march, the hut remains open during this period.
There are 17 beds (blankets + pillows) but please note that ther is no water, no heating or cooking facilities.
The hut is very cold in the winter, bring your own travel liner and warm clothes, stove and pans, and food.
The winter conditions can change very quickly in the mountains, do not overestimate your distances and check out the weather before you leave.
There is no mobile network at the refuge and there is no emergency phone or radio.
Thank you for paying 6 euros (3 for an alpine club member) in the metal box provided, and please take all you rubbish down with you.Most of all it is vital that you close all windows, doors and shutters before leaving.

Group* : a group is defined from 9 paying users for a night at least and a collective payment.
Partner associations :Discounted prices will only be applied to members of partner associations if they have a valid proof of their membership which shows the stamp on the right.
CAF Supervisors : Catering in a side-of-the-road building is free only if the volunteer is supervising a CAF activity.
Children under 18 (with an adult)** : From 01/07/09 onwards, a special rate of -45% on the overnight prices for any underage client accompanied by at least one adult is offered in any FFCAM huts in which the hut wardens offer special rates on catering for the same clients.
